- Please pass the following information on to your membership in relation to Parking Lot # 7 (aka the Boat Cove parking lot).
Overnight storage of trailered watercraft in P7 is permitted around the perimeter. The interior of P7 shall only be used for short-term parking of vehicles with empty trailers while boats are on the water (i.e. not overnight). Signage indicates day storage only in this area. Currently, there are several watercraft being stored in violation of this designation. It is important that this space is made available for day parking of trailers to mitigate congestion at the boat cove and along Boat Cove Road. Please refer to the attached map for a visual depiction of the two areas. Some space for day storage of some trailers is also available right at the boat cove.
Individuals who have parked their boats in the interior of the lot have until June 26thto remove them. After this time, enforcement will commence which may include ticketing or towing at the owner’s expense.
All trailered watercraft stored around the periphery must be removed from the area by October 15th.
Engagement with users on launch and storage fees for future seasons will take place later this summer or fall.
