DIAGRAMS FOR WATER AND SEWER HOOKUPS

Below are diagrams of the way The Park requires the water and sewer hookups to be done. This will insure that the utility staff can drain the lines properly etc. If people do not follow these diagrams they may be required to redo them at their own expense.

I originally asked that you put a shut off valve and a tap (for blowing out your lines) inside the green box. Note the contractor has put a shut off in there already. Due to the way the contractor has installed his equipment in the green box you might only get one of the two things I asked for in the box. If so, just put the tap (For blowing your Line) inside the
green box. Omit the second shut off valve.

Due to the height restrictions, RMNP will permit the use of 3 inch sewer
pipe coming out of the cabin, which hooks to our main sewer. Also there
has been a problem with the use of expansion joints, they take up
considerable height under the cabin. Therefore, if we do as proposed we
would have to lift all cabins about 18 inches. I would request where
possible to use 4 inch sewer pipe and an expansion joint. I will not make
them mandatory due to cost and height restriction.
