Manitoba Hydro has been given the authority from Parks Canada to put hydro poles as they see fit on Parks land. They will insure that there are no poles placed on leased lots and they have assured Parks Canada that they will place poles as to reduce the amount of tree cutting. Parks Canada will not negotiate with cabin owners and the authority will lie with Manitoba Hydro.
